The Donkey Trail, South Africa: This 26-kilometre two-day hike starts from a farm near Calitzdorp and finishes in the historic valley of Gamkaskloof. The trail traverses through the Swartberg Nature Reserve, following an old route over the Swartberg Mountains used by the inhabitants living in the isolated settlement many years ago. Mud, Sweat and Beers, Angola: After enduring three decades of war, Angola is slowly opening up to tourism. In these early stages, travelling through the country is an adventure.
